However, due to a change in the supplier of the raw material, the discharge of titanium dioxide from the hopper became very difficult. They purchased and installed three flow discs through a trading company. Although there was some improvement, it did not yield the expected results, and it was at this point that they first contacted our sales team for consultation. At a synthetic resin manufacturer, they are measuring powder using an air transport hopper, which also serves as a dust collector hopper. They experienced discharge issues with this hopper, and neither a knocker nor a vibrator was effective. Additionally, a wire mesh filter installed just above the discharge outlet was severely clogged, causing them trouble, which led them to consult us. They adopted the Brodydisk (installed in the regular hopper section) and the Brodydisk Mini (installed just above the discharge outlet), which resolved their issues. This user mentioned that, in addition to the current powder, they sometimes handle "very poorly flowing and highly adhesive troublesome fine powders," so they installed more Brodydisks than usual compared to typical cases. We would like to introduce a case where a Bro-Disk Mini was delivered to a facility primarily engaged in the production of food containers and packaging sheets. The delivery was made as a countermeasure for the bridging issue caused by the crushed material "pellets + powder" in the hopper of the extruder. Initially, the customer requested a loan of the equipment for effectiveness verification, so we sent the necessary quantity. After discussing the arrangement for various hoppers, we proceeded with the testing, and the results were all favorable and well-received.
